It seeks to protect the usual and attractive nature of the village and encourage the preservation of features of historic interest. There is a programme of talks in the Village Hall, visits to places of interest and social events. The subscription is £1 per annum.

LANDBEACH HELPLINE

Landbeach Helpline is a voluntary befriending and visiting service for elderly or housebound. Please contact Mrs M Patterson if you know of anyone who would like a visitor. In a specific emergency (i.e. the power cuts last October) all available help will be provided.

BEACH BABIES

We run a childminded morning play session for children aged 6 months to 3 years. These mornings are aimed at those children too young to attend a playgroup or nursery school but who benefit enormously from mixing with others of their own age.

The sessions run 9.30am to 12.30pm from Mondays to Thursdays during term-time and include treasure baskets/heuristic play and a music time, separated by a healthy snack break. So if you fancy a morning to yourself secure in the knowledge that your child is being cared for in a safe and stimulating environment please come and visit us.
