LANDBEACH VILLAGE HALL
The Village Hall is used extensively by organisations and clubs within the village as follows:
Busy Tots Carpet Bowls
Landbeach Society Miniature Group
Parish Council Tai Chi
Village Teas W.I.
Neighbourhood Watch
The Village Hall and lounge are also hired out for parties, fund raising events etc.
For those new to the village, the Hall was successful in obtaining a Lottery Grant and this, together with money from fund raising events, grants and help from the Parish Council, enabled a new lounge to be built. The Hall hires the old Committee room to the Landbeach Sports and Social Club and this is proving to be a popular asset to the Village.
The Hall is run by the Village Hall Management Committee, which comprises representatives of user organisations and
Co-opted members. The Hall is mainly a self-help exercise where organisations leave the hall as they find it.
Many Fundraising events are held during the year: all events are advertised in the Church Magazine and on posters round the village. A “Number Club” is also a very good fundraiser.
